About Our Founder

Dave’s wife, Anne Amato, has helped him run Dayton Auto Rebuilders since 1994. Anne continues to run the business since 2008 with General Manager Scott Kann,  and staff. They continue to operate Dayton Auto Rebuilders with the same values Dave held. You can be certain that your car will be repaired correctly the first time.

We believe in the Golden Rule: treating our customers as we would like to be treated. For you, this means doing business in an environment with friendly and knowledgeable people that understand how to make your experience a positive one.

We are prepared to manage every aspect of your repair. We help you deal with your insurance company, coordinate rental cars, and ensure your car’s downtime is minimized. Anne Amato

Owner/President

In 1994 Anne partnered with her late husband Dave to tackle the everyday challenges this industry has to offer. It has always been their goal to provide quality work their customers can trust. Each employee is treated like family and valued for their dedication and expertise. Anne oversees the daily operations and takes great pride in making sure each customer is satisfied with their repair and that the employees feel her respect and appreciation. Anne is certified by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council.

Scott Kann

General Manager

Scott has worked in the automotive industry, repair shop and insurance, for over 50 years. He oversees the daily production in the shop, working closely with the body and paint technicians during all phases of the repair process. Scott also writes estimates, part ordering and specializes in operational costs. Scott is ICAR Platinum, Chief Frame trained, BASF Paint certified and held many supervisory roles with a major insurance carrier prior to his employment at Dayton. He also ensures that vehicles are delivered back to the customer with the highest standard of repair.

Shop Technicians

Technicians

Our quality repair team is skilled in all aspects of the automotive industry. Yearly training is provided, and the shop is ICAR Gold certified. Their training along with experience assures customers of quality and long-lasting repairs. The techs use their skills to return vehicles to pre-crash condition or better. After the repair phase our detailers take pride in ensuring each vehicle is buffed, polished, cleaned so the completed repairs can be admired by the customer. Once cleaned, the detailer performs a quality check before the vehicle leaves the wash bay. If any issues are discovered he will notify either the tech, operation manager or general manager for resolution prior to the vehicle being delivered.

Customer Service Specialist

Customer Service Specialist. Duties are to work with customers and their insurance company to ensure a smooth transition on the repairs of their vehicles. Takes pride in making sure customers are informed of the progress of their vehicles, whether it is taking care of paperwork when vehicles are dropped off for repair, car rentals, paying vendor invoices, scanning invoices to each repair order, reviewing each repair order for parts charges, and updating files with services performed. Also to performs other office-related duties throughout the day.

Pam Pizzo-Suntken

Customer Service Specialist

Pam started her employment at Dayton in August of 2018 as a Customer Service Specialist. She is a familiar face to our customers as she grew up in this area. She meets and greets all our customers or vendors whether in person or over the phone. Pam has exceptional customer service skills and handles all incoming or outgoing calls. Her job is to work with customers and their insurance companies to ensure a smooth transition before repairs begin. Pam also takes care of all self-paying customers, all insurance paperwork and authorizations. Pam finds Dayton Auto Rebuilders to be a truly wonderful place to work, with a very caring and amazing team.
